Taste Napa Downtown - A stellar selection of Downtown Napa's winetasting rooms awaits. Pick up one of these promotional cards for a mere $20.00 and dozens of tastes are yours for the asking. Over a dozen wine tasting rooms currently particpate, all within walking distance of Downtown Napa. You can pick up your card at the Napa General Store, and start your tasting experience right there.

Napa Valley Bike Tours & Rentals - Nothing like getting a little exercise while on vacation - you'll feel better about all that dessert & extra wine.
Napa Valley Wine Train - A Napa tradition for over twelve years. Some of the world's finest retored Pullman cars present you with a unique oppurtunity to ride the rails through the Napa Valley while sipping local wines & eating a gourmet meal. One of the Valley's "Must Do" activities.
Napa River Adventures - See Napa from a completely new angle - on-board a luxury battery powered water-craft. A leasurely tour of Napa's beautiful river, it's flora & fauna admirably pointed out by your captain Kevin Trazinski. Kayak rentals also available.

NAPA GENERAL STORE CAFE
“Surprisingly damn good” Cal-Eclectic fare with “Asian touches” “do not miss it” (just get there before 6pm closing) suggests Downtown Napa visitors who descend on the daytime café counterpart of a local gourmet food/ craft store, all set in a historic former mill; sit on the “wonderful” pooch-friendly terrace overlooking the Napa River and nosh on stone-oven pizza and rotisserie meats or tote away a picnic basket.
Our store is housed in a restored mill building along the banks of the Napa river. If your in the Napa area be sure and stop by for a visit, we are constantly adding authentic, earthy & eclectic ways to decorate, relax & savor the moment. We were fortunate to be chosen as one of the locations for a new Food Network series featuring Giada De Laurentiis. Three Day Getaways to Wine Country has been airing since March of 2007. FoodNetwork.com Look for Giada's visit to our store & the champagne brunch we roll-out every morning for returning Balloons Above The Valley balloonists.
If you are coming out to
Napa this year be sure & stop by & say hello, check out the progress on the new river walk that is wrapping itself around the Historic Mill, and relax for a spell. Our new outside patio area is open along with six blocks of the Napa River Trail.
Be sure to come by & see us if you are in the area - we are constantly adding one of a kind items and unique accessories that you won't find anywhere else. Jill just got back from a two week trip through the Southwest & found some terrific antique & collectible decor items. They turn everyday design into the sublime.
